A brand rooted in love, confidence, and the belief that every woman deserves to feel beautiful at the shore.

We Started With a Simple Truth

In the summer of 2021, founder Sofia Reyes stood in a Miami Beach swimwear shop surrounded by racks of beautiful suits — none of which came in her size. She walked out empty-handed, frustrated, and determined to change everything.

That frustration became the spark that lit Curva Coast Collection. A brand built not just to sell swimwear, but to fundamentally change the way plus-size women experience the beach.

From our first collection of just 6 styles to our Summer 2026 line of 32 beautifully crafted pieces, every garment we create carries that original mission: make plus-size women feel seen, celebrated, and spectacular.

How We Got Here

From Miami Beach to Every Shore

We launched from a tiny studio apartment in Miami Beach with a sewing machine, a dream, and a strong belief in body positivity. Our first collection sold out in 72 hours — shared by real women who felt, for the first time, like swimwear was truly made for them.

Five years later, we've shipped to all 50 states and 28 countries. We've worked with over 200 plus-size models across all shapes, skin tones, and backgrounds to ensure our photos reflect real diversity. Our design team — mostly plus-size women themselves — tests every style to ensure it performs as beautifully in the water as it looks on the rack.

We're still in Miami Beach. We still believe in the same mission. And we're just getting started.

Sofia Reyes

Founder & Creative Director

A Miami native with a passion for fashion, body justice, and the ocean. Sofia founded Curva Coast at 28 after her own painful experience with the plus-size fashion gap.

Danielle Park

Head of Design

Former swimwear designer for luxury brands, Danielle joined Curva Coast because she wanted her work to matter. She oversees every cut, seam, and silhouette.

Keisha Brown

Brand & Community Director

Keisha is the voice and heart of our community. A plus-size model and activist, she ensures our brand stays authentic, loud, and unapologetically inclusive.
